The spectators do not risk getting bored during this seventy-fourth edition of the 24 Hours of Spa. Numerous animations are now also provided in the paddock as well as around the circuit. Everything starts on Wednesday with the traditional parade to the heart of Spa. The 66 cars participating in the 24-hour race will be present, but also GTs that have made history in the 24 Hours in recent years as well as various cars from the support races. It is a unique opportunity for the spectators to see the cars and drivers up close, and entrance is free.
Also back in the party is the Saturday evening concert, this time called Tipik Electro Night. USX & Izoard will perform there from 8.30 pm followed by Jérémie Charlier and MC Shurakano. At 23:00 it is the turn of The Avener. With your entrance ticket for the 24 hours you automatically have access to the concerts. Just before midnight there is another great fireworks show, which can be watched from the new grandstand on the Raidillon.
On Friday evening after the action on the track, the pit lane will be opened to the public, who will have the opportunity to watch the mechanics on the cars at work in the pit boxes. As with the two previous “normal” editions, the slopes will also be accessible at that time for the brave hikers who want to climb the Raidillon on foot.
At the foot of the Raidillon we find the Fan Village. There you can test your talent on simulators or shop in the many shops. The Fanatec Esports Arena will also return for those who want to venture into Sim racing. The glass arena houses 20 simulators that will also be used by the drivers during the race for the Fanatec Esports GT Pro Series on Friday. Saturday night some of the most famous Sim Racers will show their skills.
This year SRO also celebrates its thirtieth anniversary. That is why two races are being organized for historic GTs that have been featured in the SRO races and in the 24 Hours over the last 30 years. The first race will take place on Friday while the second will be held just before the start of the 24 hours. There will also be an expo of spectacular super cars in the paddock. These include a Pagani Huayra R as well as a Mercedes-AMG GT Track Series. In addition, there will also be several GT2s on display, cars that took part in a round for the GT2 European Series on the same circuit the previous weekend.
The paddock of the support races, which are the Lamborghini Super Trofeo, the GT4 European Series together with the GT4 Scandinavia, the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine and the FFSA Formula 4, are open to the public. The Karting track of Francorchamps will also be open throughout the weekend.
