With all their hearts they wish to get on a real mission as soon as possible, but first they will have to undergo thorough training in earthly conditions. The space comedy is filled with absurd jokes and the hardships that come with being in a confined space with a group of sexually mature men.
An interesting fact: all three main roles were played by the writers of the series.

As you might guess from the title, the main character is an alien who came to Earth in order to destroy humanity. However, according to all the laws of the genre, he refused this idea, remaining to live on Earth and working in a local clinic in a small town in Colorado.
An interesting fact: unlike the protagonist of the comic book – intelligent and tactful, the main character of the series, through the efforts of the writers, became cynical and sarcastic.

The series from the creators of “Gossip Girl” tells about the lives of seven girls who in one day moved from the modest category of military wives to the category of representatives of the high society of America. And all because their spouses were accepted into the corps of astronauts preparing for the great mission of becoming the first Americans in space. The wives of talented test pilots will not only get to know a new life, but also become a real support for each other.

The star of “Doctor House” Hugh Laurie will again appear before the audience in his usual role as a manager, but now in space. In the sci-fi comedy series Avenue 5, Laurie plays a spaceship captain in a future world where off-planet travel has become a popular form of tourism. One of these cruises will not go according to plan: the liner will break down and the flight will have to last at least three years instead of the promised couple of months.
An interesting fact: the director and screenwriter of the series was the author of the film “The Death of Stalin”.
An informative documentary series is dedicated to the story of the most dramatic events in the history of Russian cosmonautics. In each of the four series, the myths associated with the modern representation of the history of astronautics are debunked, forgotten names are refreshed in memory, and the problems faced by designers of rocketry in the 20th century are analyzed. The series also lifts the veil of secrecy of the confrontation between the USSR, Germany and the USA in the space-rocket race.
The series is based on documentaries, diluted with stage scenes and three-dimensional computer graphics. Actors Sergei Chonishvili and Dmitry Polonsky read the voice-over text.
An interesting fact: the series is dedicated to the fiftieth anniversary of the first manned flight into space.

This series wonderfully combines the wit of a classic sitcom, the seriousness of a family drama, and the scope of a full-fledged space opera.
Fun Fact: This is the first live-action series created by Seth MacFarlane (Family Guy). Prior to that, he had directed only animated series.
Documentary series from Lost producer JJ Abrams. Over the course of four episodes, he seriously wonders if we are really alone in the universe? The Abrams team interviews scientists, journalists from well-known publications, former military men and many others about UFOs and comes to an unexpected discovery: the interlocutors unanimously admit that they have refused to speak seriously on this topic all their lives because they were afraid of being branded at best as eccentrics, at worst – crazy. This practice of shame and silence interested the creators of the series no less than evidence of contacts with unidentified aerial phenomena.
Interesting fact: the impetus for the creation of the series was an article that the Pentagon has been secretly tracking UFOs for years. The material was published in 2017 in the New York Times.
“Extreme Space” (2018-2021, 3 seasons)
The protagonist of this animated series is serving a 5-year sentence on a spaceship. In space prison, Gary Goodspeed was punished for the catastrophe he provoked on Earth. When there is very little left before the end of the conclusion, Gary will meet a mysterious alien, but he will not guess that a new friend is capable of destroying the universe.
Fun fact: The animated series started out as a short film by freelance internet filmmaker Olan Rogers on his YouTube channel.
“Wreckage” (2021, season 1)
The sci-fi series Debris tells the story of a mysterious spaceship crash, pieces of which fall to Earth for six months. An international team of special agents has been assigned to search for and study these wreckage. This is because the elements of an extraterrestrial vessel are able to influence the laws of physics and even the behavior of people. The perfect series for fans of The X-Files and fans of absurd puzzles.
An interesting fact: viewing will not take you much time – the project was closed after the first season
“Space” (2015-2022, 6 seasons)
Space fiction with a touch of noir and powerful special effects. In the story, Detective Joseph Miller takes on the case of the disappearance of the daughter of an influential man. During the investigation, the detective gets on board a starship, which is attacked by a gang of unknown criminals. Using all his professional abilities, Miller will discover the connection between the missing girl, the attack on the team and the revolutionaries. Viewers are promised the greatest conspiracy in the history of mankind and its indispensable disclosure.
An interesting fact: this is a film adaptation of the book cycle of the same name by Daniel Abraham and Ty Frank, who write under the creative pseudonym James Corey.
