During the event GA Fes 2023 The first promotional video for the second season of the anime adaptation of the light novels written by Kumo Kagyu and illustrated by Noboru Kannatsuki, goblin slayer. The video confirms a change of animation studio, with WHITE FOX ceding production to LIDEN FILMSand that the premiere is scheduled for 2023 in Japan.
Kumo Kagyu Y Noboru Kannatsuki publish original light novels through imprint G.A. Bunko from the publisher SB Creative since February 2016. On the other hand, the manga adaptation by Kousuke Kurose is published through the magazine Monthly Big Gangan from the publisher Square Enix since May 2016.
A twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by the studios WHITE FOXunder the direction of takaharu ozaki and scripts written by Hideyuki Kuratawas released in October 2018, followed by a feature film released in February 2020 and titled Goblin Slayer: Goblin’s Crown.

Hiromi Katō (Guilty Crown, Koutetsujou no Kabaneri, Monster Musume no Oisha-san) is in charge of character design and animation direction, replacing Takashi Nagayoshi.
Kenichirou Suehiro (Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu, Enen no Shouboutai, Darwin’s Game) returns to handle the composition of the soundtrack.
Goblin Slayer Synopsis
Goblins are known for their ferocity, cunning, and rapid reproduction, but their reputation as the lowest of monsters means their threat is overlooked. Raiding rural civilizations to kidnap females of other species for breeding, these vile creatures are free to continue their onslaught while adventurers turn a blind eye in favor of more rewarding tasks with greater rewards. To commemorate her first day as a Porcelain rank adventurer, the 15-year-old Priestess joins a group of young and enthusiastic fledglings to investigate a tribe of goblins responsible for the disappearance of several village women. Unprepared and inexperienced, the group soon faces their inevitable demise from an ambush while exploring a cave.
With no one else left standing, the terrified Priestess accepts her fate – until the Goblin Slayer shows up unexpectedly to not only rescue her with little effort, but to destroy the entire goblin nest. As a holder of the prestigious rank of Silver, the Goblin Slayer allows her to accompany him as she assists the Adventurers Guild in all goblin-related matters. Along with Priestess, High Elf, Dwarf, and Lizardman, the armored warrior will not rest until all goblins in the borderlands have been eradicated forever.
