There is no official release date confirmed by Netflix, however, we can confirm that the animated feature will be released sometime in March 2023.
Iuri Lioli, the art director, revealed on his Instagram in November 2022 that the film had its premiere.
Lioli said the following about the project;

Follows Peter, who is looking for his long-lost sister. When he crosses paths with a fortune teller in the marketplace, he wants to know if his sister is still alive. To get the answer, he must find a mysterious elephant and the magician who will make it appear. The Magician’s Elephant is a long term project. Started in 2012, it took several years and several rewrites before Netflix took over the project in January 2000.
Filming reportedly began in February 2021 and wrapped on June 25, 2021. However, with an exceptionally long post-production status, it’s incredibly difficult to know exactly how far from complete the film is.
