Distress once again stayed in the lives of the protagonists of The Tatami Galaxy when their troublemaker friend Ozu spilled a drink on the AC remote. Under such conditions, that too on a hot summer day, hope arrives in the form of a time traveler.
The Tatami galaxy is known for its bizarre scenarios which we love and appreciate. Naturally, as soon as the franchise announced a sequel, we were excited to know what else they could throw at us.
So far, teasers for the Tatami Time Machine Blues compilation anime film haven’t disappointed us when it comes to absurdity, including the latest one.

The teaser begins with the scene that started it all, Ozu spilling a drink on the AC remote. This escalated into a massive fight between the protagonist and Ozu, followed by the 25-year-old student arriving in the future.
You’d think the protagonist and his friends could use time travel in so many life-changing ways, but no. Annoyed by the heat and Ozu’s shenanigans, the MC decides to go back in time and save the AC remote.
It may sound silly, but once you feel the summer heat, you might start to understand the feelings of the protagonist.

Additionally, the franchise also revealed that it will hold a premiere of the film on August 12, 2022 at Shinjuku Wald 9 theaters.The preview will take place ahead of the film’s release on September 30 and the Disney+ animated series debut on September 14.
In addition to that, an original sixth episode of the anime series will be released on October 12. The story will be released exclusively on Disney+ with scenes that are not from the novel.
