According to the site IMDb, for the version of Disney approximately 150 million dollars were investeds, including the cost of distribution and advertising for the film, plus a large part of the percentage was also spent on speeding up production. The film director took more than 14 years in making this feature film, since he looked for a way to animate his puppets in a special way and bring a new version of this well-known story to the public.
