This is Halloween! The October 31, 2022 in Carmagnolafrom 15:30 start of the various activities with workshops and animations while in the evening at 21:30 departure of the “Mysterious Halloween Night Journey” through the streets of the historic center with shows in Piazza Sant’Agostino. For Halloween takes place in Carmagnola an event much awaited by children and by families that in this eighth edition proposes workshops and animations, snacks and monstrous dinnersan addictive mysterious journey at night in the historic center of the city, a dance and theater show edited by the corps de ballet of Essenza Danza and one show of games of light and fire edited by Clown ldà Animation and Events
This year’s edition has as its theme “The Bats” and, in addition to wanting to create an opportunity for recreation and entertainment, it aims to dispel the fears that weigh on these mammals, re-evaluating them as important pawns for the ecosystem and the nature that surrounds us.
This is Halloween Eighth Edition
The event takes place on October 31st and manages to animate the beautiful historical center of the city thanks to important synergies that actively involve numerous traders and citizens, it comes organized by the municipality in collaboration with the association Carmagnola workshop – creator of the event and coordinator of the activities – with the school Essence Dancewith the Pro Locowith the Carmagnola Gourmet Workshop and this year with the support of BTM sponsors – Banca Territori del Monviso, Ascom of Carmagnola and funeral services Miotto.
Pipivampi competition… strello for schools
“This is Halloween2022 has Bats as its theme. The competition “Pipivampi…strello, vampire for one night” reserved for primary school children in Carmagnola, edited by the city section of the LAV and in collaboration with the Corriere di Carmagnola. A competition in which the different classes were able to participate with the two-dimensional or three-dimensional plastic realization of bats. The most significant works will be rewarded aThe end of the final show, later displayed in some shop windows of shops and published in the Corriere di Carmagnola.
Scheduled workshops
Trick, treat or… job – from 15:30 to 19:00 for children aged 4 to 10 who can create their own monster chaser in the Piazza Italia Exhibition Hall
Of bats, vampires and other nocturnal creatures…in the library, from 16.30 to 17.30, bat readings for children aged 3 to 11 at the Civic Library in Via Valobra 102.
Readings in the Park
“Bat readings for primary school” edited by the Civic Library, from 17.00 at 17.30 and from 17.30 at 18.00 for 2 shifts of up to 12 children;
“Bat pills from a female scientist” organized by the Civic Museum of Natural History, from 18.00;
“Encounter with the Vampire by John Polidori”, reading for children starting from lower secondary school, from 18.00 to 19.00.
The activities are to be booked on 011/972.4360 and take place in Cascina Vigna Park (Via San Francesco di Sales, 188), at the Biblioteca sotto l’Albero, a new space dedicated to reading recently inaugurated.
Other initiatives Snacks and Monster Dinners
Two selfie stations in which to take your own snapshots, active from 15:30 to 18:30 at We are Fried of via Valobra 187 and at the Stationery Il Portico of Piazza Mazzini 8.
Imaginative scary snacks and animations are offered with sweets, chocolates, ice creams, sandwiches, focaccias and drinks from the Artigusto premises in via Donizetti, the Molineris pastry shop in piazza Sant’Agostino, the San Filippo cafeteria restaurant in piazza Manzoni, the Monviso tavern in largo Vittorio Veneto, the Di Claudio pastry shop in via Giolitti, the Le Palme pizzeria in Piazza Antichi Bastioni, Tomato&Coffe in via Gardezzana and Mokambo bar in Piazza Verdi.
Monster dinners I am planning to leave from 19 with special menus at the Osto Bruma restaurant in via Delle Cherche, at the Pizzeria Le Palme in piazza Antichi Bastioni, at the Taverna Monviso in Largo Vittorio Veneto, at the Tomato&Coffe in via Gardezzana, at the Bar Mokambo in Piazza Verdi and at the Locanda del Bussone in via Valobra.
Evening shows
Mysterious Journey Halloween Night: Carmagnola will turn into a dark city with a traveling show that will take the public through the streets and squares of the historic center, following a haunted cart and with the accompaniment of fantastic characters and creatures and scary. The meeting point is at 21.30 in Largo Vittorio Veneto.
The monstrous and spectacular procession it will end in Piazza Sant’Agostinowhere you will be able to witness an immersive acted and danced show edited by Essenza Danza, a succession of ienchanted and magical paintings created directed by Elena Piazza and narrated by Cristiana Cassinelli and Ermanno Mareliati.
The evening continues with a show of games of light and fire edited by Clown ldà Animation and Events and with the awards of the competition “Pipivampi… strello, vampire for one night” with the primary school classes that took part in the initiative.
