The animation series focuses on the underlying message of Tia’s soon-to-be-released new song “GOODBYE PRINCESS,” a song dedicated to all women and encouraging them to become strong and accept themselves just the way they are.

The six animated episodes reflect Tia’s journey within the entertainment industry. Each 30-second chapter is inspired by classic princess tales, but altering the symbols and images within them to craft an imaginative story full of ideas about metamorphosis and personal empowerment.

This animated series aims to show Tia’s determination to break stereotypes, get rid of prejudice, avoid negativity, and become an example of female empowerment.

The award-winning animation team that has made this animated series inspired by “GOODBYE PRINCESS” possible, the animated series has been selected, illustrated and scripted by an award-winning team based in Hong Kong who have demonstrated exquisite quality, creativity and enthusiasm.

Project Director and Consultant: Sunny Tang – An award-winning animation director with over 20 years of experience. He has won the Best Animation Award and Best Editing Award at the Hong Kong Mobile Film Festival, as well as the Gold Award for Best Digital Entertainment at the Hong Kong ICT Awards. His international accolades include the 23rd TBS DigiCon6 Japan Award of Merit and the 16th TBS DigiCon6 Japan Regional Award, recognizing effort in Hong Kong. His credit list includes: The Great Detective Sherlock Holmes: The Greatest Jail-Breaker, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Kung Fu Hustle, The Promise, Gatchman, and Astro Boy.

Screenwriter: Alex Lee – Screenwriter of the movie In Broad Daylight and the successful television series “In Geek We Trust” on the ViuTV channel. He has also directed the Ritalin series, known for being part of the series section of the 2021 Golden Horse Film Project Promotion.

Illustrator: Mandy Mackenzie Ng – An up-and-coming talent from Hong Kong in digital painting. Her masterpiece is the music video “of Moment” performed by Hong Kong singer Terence Lam.

Arranged by: Wan Pin Chu – Film music artist and erhuist based in Hong Kong. He is known for having composed the music for the highest grossing animated film in China, Nezha: Birth of the Demon Child. In addition, he has composed the music for other blockbusters such as Overheard 3, Wu Kong, Godzilla II: King of the Monsters, and In Geek We Trust.

Fusion of 2D animations with moving images and still photos of Tia

Each episode will also be illustrated and displayed on a themed poster that will outline the theme and message that Tia wishes to convey in each animated episode. The cinematic design of the six posters will be reminiscent of one another and will be posted on Tia’s social platforms the day after the release of each animation.

As an innovation, a motion picture and still picture of Tia will also be released after each episode to give strength to the story Tia wants to tell. Showing Tia, the combination of stills and moving images is intended to create a strong contrast between animation and reality.

The motion picture and still image from the first episode, “Falling in the Deep,” will show Tia completely submerged in water.

The prodigious minds behind the extraordinary production of the still and moving image series are two of the world’s foremost creative professionals: Tony C. Miller, as Creative Director, and Kate Wynborne (of international film and advertising), as a producer.

Tony C. Miller has over 20 years of international experience producing commercials, music videos, documentaries and feature films. He has worked on ad campaigns for brands like Versace, Dior, Chopard, Issey Miyake, and Rolls Royce. He has also been nominated for Best Video at the Q Awards and Best Video at the Music Video Awards (MVA) and has been honored at both the Global Independent Film Awards and the 2020 New York Shorts International Film Festival.

Kate Wynborne is a veteran producer, with more than two decades of experience in music videos, commercials and fashion productions around the world. Based in Southeast Asia, she has directed productions in countless countries and has worked on big budget campaigns with Apple, Versace, Nike and Facebook. She has also worked with numerous renowned directors such as Tom Hooper (known for his British film The King’s Speech) as well as other celebrated artists.
