Madrid, December 7

The ingenious animation campaign “GOODBYE PRINCESS” by Tia Lee breaks the record of 100 million viewers. The final episode has captured worldwide attention, in anticipation of the official release of the music video on December 5, 2022

The end of the animated series “GOODBYE PRINCESS” aired on November 29. It marks the end of the series and means a new chapter for Tia. Also, “GOODBYE PRINCESS” captures world attention, in anticipation of the music video release on December 5, 2022.

In the series finale, titled “The Beginning” (The Beginning), the protagonist (who has returned to the depths of the sea in the previous episode) watches on television a series of scenes in the form of silhouettes. In one of them, just as the handsome prince tries to wake the princess with the kiss of her life, she regains her consciousness and, with her characteristic look of determination, pushes the prince away from her. At that moment, the prince reveals his true identity: a bestial creature, and tries to attack the princess. Then, in the depths of the ocean, the television shatters as the beast, with its claws, tries to attack the protagonist. She rushes to take the memories of her from the television: images of the palace, the battle against the black pawns, the times when she wore gorgeous dresses and pretended to live a glamorous life and the blood-red water. All these memories are transformed into a magical rose, similar to a fairy’s wand. The girl picks it up and shakes it to cast a spell and eventually turn the beast into a cub. With her new pet in her arms, she strides confidently toward the sparkling lights she has always longed for. It is the beginning of the new chapter of her.

The poster of “The Beginning” has added more details and the path for the new chapter in Tia’s life:

1. In fairy tales, the prince and the bestial creatures often have a good-natured nature. The Serie “GOODBYE PRINCESS“has turned this stereotype on its head.

2. In the first episode, television leads the protagonist to travel through space and time. In the final episode, Tia uses it to retrieve all kinds of memories of her, which ultimately become the source of her strength to face the future.

3. The protagonist, with the puppy in her arms, advances on a new path in which, together, they will face new challenges. The mascot image is based on Tia’s real dog, “Sun“, whose IG account is the only one the artist follows.

The final set of moving pictures and still images for “The Beginning” has been published today with vogue hong kong. In the pictures, Tia appears in a black set of st laurent and high-heeled shoes Christian Louboutin, a style that marks a real contrast to that of the princess from the previous 5 episodes. Adding to Tia’s determined look is a brave look into the future.

The 6-episode animated series “GOODBYE PRINCESS” is produced by a Hong Kong-based, award-winning creative team. It features artists including Sunny Tang, winner of the Best Animation Award and the Best Editing Award at the Hong Kong Mobile Film Festival, the illustrator Mandy Mackenzie Ng and screenwriter Alex Lee teamed up for the first time to work with Tia on this expressive series. Each 30-second episode features a classic fictional “princess” and reinterprets ancient tales to tell a story Inspired by Tia’s own experiences and her journey in the entertainment industry, the series shows Tia’s determination to break free and rid herself of prejudices about her, paving the way to take charge of her own destiny.

The series is a one-of-a-kind production, combining animation, music, and real characters to present Tia’s revival. As Tia begins a new chapter of her professional life, stay tuned for other projects of hers to be announced soon.
