Toei Unveils MV For ‘BokuAi’ And ‘KimiAi’ Films

Everyone is riding the multiverse train these days, why should the anime industry stay behind? So, Yomiji Otono finally decided to make his twin novels, “Boku ga Aishita Subete no Kimi e” and “Kimi o Aishita Hitori no Boku e”, an anime.

At first, the novels may seem like cute high school romances, but in reality, they’re filled with multi-dimensional journeys and more. Both stories have the same protagonist but with different lives in different worlds.

Movies like this always have the best aesthetics and graphics, which can only be bettered with a melodious soundtrack. Likewise, the staff of “Boku ga Aishita Subete no Kimi e” and “Kimi o Aishita Hitori no Boku e” provided flawless tracks.

Toei Animation has shared two new music videos featuring a preview of the insert songs for the movies debuting on October 7, 2022. The first video is for “Boku ga Aishita Subete no Kimi e” called “Rakka Ryūsui” by Keina Suda.

“To All I’ve Loved” insert song “Ryusui Rakuhana” special video

The video features protagonists Koyomi Takasaki and Kazune Takigawa. Koyomi and Kazune are classmates, and the latter reveals that she is from World Line 85, where they are lovers.

Following this discovery, the two soon begin a relationship, and the video shows them getting married and growing old together. I guess you can say that’s one of the perks of traveling between worlds.

Next is the music video for “Kimi o Aishita Hitori no Boku e” which previews the song “Summer Daydream” by Saucy Dog.

This video introduces the protagonists, Koyomi Hidaka and Shiori Satou, a couple who are not as lucky as the other couple. Koyomi, unlike his counterpart in the parallel world, can’t seem to be with the love of his life.

In this world, Koyomi decided to stay with his father after his parents divorced, leading him to meet Shiori. She met Koyomi at her father’s research institute, and the two immediately fell in love.

However, fate had other plans when Koyomi’s father and Shiori’s mother remarried, resulting in the couple becoming half-brothers. The two decide to jump worlds to find one where they are not brothers and can be together.

Keina Suda and Saucy Dog are also responsible for the theme songs for the movies and have done a great job for that as well.

I can’t wait to experience both stories with the phenomenal tracks and striking visuals from these artists.
